ROG Strix 1080 Ti OC fans keep on/off at 55c

    Hi,

I just noticed that when my card is at 55c every other second the fans spin up, second after spin belt down, second later spin out up etc..

This is when the card is around 55c and when IT gets to 56 they spin up, then when back at 54 they spin down, keeps doing this evey other second.

Case is sitting next to Pine Tree State so this sounds really bothersome, is in that location any manner i can stop them drom spinning down or just make them not perpetually spin up and down? Using the in style nvidia drivers.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

I had this antecedently, I just opened GFE (GeforceExperience) went to drivers, and Ra-installed (choosing scavenge establis) - this seemed to stop IT, and I haven't had the issue again since

Toggle the 0dB button when in GPU Tweak. Although looks like you resorted to uninstalling information technology already

This works indeed, although i wish asus would let US turn the fan down to 25% equal afterburner does (or even less), 900rpm sure sounds alot more quiet than 1300rpm when idle.

Will see in incoming nvidia driver updates if the problem goes out, done uninstalling and reinstalling drivers for in real time

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

This is really normal behavior for the defaults along the bill. Every bit suggested you hind end ever encounte a work around if you want. Asus sets for silent operation by nonpayment that shuts the fans off at or downstairs 55c.

My 980 never behaved like that, even though the treshold was at 60c, if it was close it wouldnt ride and off every other second when information technology was 1 to a higher place OR below it. Its overly strict Eastern Samoa it is now.

The Afterburner designer explains this real number well. As the temp reaches 55, the fans kicks in, cooling system the board below 55, which causes the fans to shut lowered. The instrument panel then heats up again tense 55 and the fans kick it again repeating the uninjured mental process. Things stabilizes went board gets or so 60. The satire is that if your case has real good cooling, you'll view this happening Sir Thomas More. Gputweak doesn't have hysterisis setting. Afterburner and EVGA preciseness has it.
